Purpose.

EXPORT set to YES and export will begin.
PLAYBACK
Because
you exported to an AVI format your viewing experience will be much easier. If
you have a Media Player that will play .avi files simply load it into that
player. If not go to our downloads section and run the
ffdshow program to install the codec.
After you are finished you should be able to play your .avi file in Microsoft
Windows Media Player. An alternative would be to download a free media player
such as
VLC Media Player from our downloads section, which supports and plays many files including .avi
files.
If you have an error
message or problems exporting, viewing recorded data, or getting your recorder
to recognize your jump drive you need to restart your DVR and try again. Like
all electronics your DVR will need to be restarted every once in a while.
For any other
questions, refer to the Export Video section of your Users Manual!
DVRE -- DVRL -- DVRH (2009 and up Model) Instructions
Video Exporting and Playback Instructions
Your DVR allows users to export wanted video to the
built-in CD/DVD+RW or an external storage device, such as a USB ThumbDrive, and
the exported video will be saved as *.drv file.
If the video is to be exported to an external
device, make sure the device is connected to the DVR.
NOTE: Once an external device is connected to the DVR
unit, the device has priority over the built-in CD/DVD+RW. That means the video
will be exported to the external device instead of
the built-in CD/DVD+RW.
According to the size of video, the exporting
process may take about 10
minutes to 1 hour.
ezBurn Intro:
Built with the ezBurn technology, ezBurn function
provides users the easier way to export desired video with CD/DVD+RW built in or to an external
device connected, such as an USB ThumbDrive. TWO keys (SEARCH and COPY) and
THREE touches are all you need for completing the export. The whole exporting
process will be done through the front panel, but no need to enter the OSD
setup menu. The ezburn export process is illustrated as below figure:

ezBurn steps are as follows:
- Press SEARCH and play
wanted video by entering date and time. Note if you are viewing in multiple
channel mode, please make sure there is no window displaying in Live mode.
Otherwise, the export won't work.
- In playback mode, play the
video and press COPY on the point that you want to start the export. Continue
playback viewing.
- Press
COPY again on the point that you want to end the export. Now, the "ezBurn"
window displays as below figure. The information shown on the window is for
read only.
Your
selected device will be your USB thumbdrive or CD/DVD+RW burner depending on your model of recorder.
